For surfers and seaman it’s important to get real-time readings from their favourite surf-spot or not-official ports. Currently existing weather stations are too expensive (around 800 EUR) to leave into nature without supervising.<\/p>\n

Low cost, stand alone (no infrastructure) wind&temperature&camera station is required
\nFunctionality:
\n– Wind speed (m\/s)
\n– Wind direction (degrees)
\n– Air temperature (C)
\n– Live picture or photos after defined sec (depends on how much is power consuption).
\n– Solar powered system (no infrastructure)
\n– Communication over 3G or 4G<\/p>\n

Knowledge needed to team<\/strong>:\u00a0Electronics engineer (sensors data to mobilephone, solar powering system\/schematics),\u00a0Programmer: Android(send data to server over 3g\/4G),\u00a0Programmer: server etc. (build interface to see date from http address),\u00a0Mechanics\/mechatronics (station must be weatherproof and wind measuring is mechanics)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
