Audio-Bunny

Author: Rando Pikner

An audio-visual system where a remote microphone listens the surrounding ambient sound. It can stream the sound over 4G. It can display the sound visually on online dashboard as well as in form of light. Idealistically it can detect basic sounds patterns and create an alarm when the noise level reaches a certain threshold and/or when a certain sound pattern is recognized.

There are various possible applications for this setup, for example:

– recording nature sounds for nature enthusiasts,
– automatic shepherd watching over sheep or other animals,
– baby or granny monitor,
– analyzing noise level in urban areas for better noise cancelling (Smart City)
– city space surveillance and prediction of crisis (Smart City).
