Forewarned is forearmed: this talk will tell you more about what’s ahead of you for taking it to scale, reviewing the checklist of what makes a project great, and the main pitfalls to avoid.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n About the presenter<\/em><\/p>\n At HAX, his work covers deal sourcing as well as advising startups on strategy, marketing, PR and fundraising. HAX is based in Shenzhen and San Francisco, and made over 150 investments covering robotics, health tech and IoT. Notable startups include Makeblock (Lego for robotics), NextThing (creators of the world\u2019s first $9 computer) and Simbe Robotics (retail inventory robot). HAX startups have run over 60 crowdfunding campaigns, 90% reaching over $100,000 and 8 over $1mln.<\/p>\n Prior to HAX, Benjamin worked in aerospace, telecom, gaming and was the founder of an Asia-focused strategic consulting company with clients including Fortune 500 companies, startups and thought leaders such as Harvard Business School and IDEO.<\/p>\n Benjamin has been a speaker at over 200 tech events including TechCrunch Disrupt, Pioneers, TEDx, Slush and GMIC.
